It's getting harder and harder to come up with something interesting everyone would love to read about.
So I thought it would be good to finally get a few responses from you guys too. Please post as many things you want to read about in comments. The more, the better. It doesn't even have to be a list. Whatever topic you're interested in is good. I'll look it up, do a little research and I'll post my thoughts on them.
Since the year is soon ending, I thought it was a good idea to make up a list of the best songs of this year.
Now, I know the charts have them all, but since I detested most of the songs on it, I made up my own list. Here are MY favorites, in no particular order.
1. Toby Keith- Red Solo Cup
I don't know why I love this song so much, but damn it, I do. It's catchy and easy to learn, and it cheers me up. I also love the redneck part of it. Also Jeff Dunham is in the video. Jeff Dunham rocks.
2. OneRepublic- Good Life
I love this song, because... well, because no matter how hard things are at the moment, it's always a good life. I find that nowadays it doesn't take much to be able to smile.
3. LMFAO- Party Rock Anthem ft. Lauren Bennett, GoonRock
I don't think I have to explain this one. It's something that gets into your head and will not leave, till you suffer. I usually don't like this kind of music, but this one got to me.
4. Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger ft. Christina Aguilera
Maroon 5 has a few songs I like, but this one probably tops it all. Whenever I hear this one I'm instantly in mood to dance. They could've cut out the part where Aguilera sings, and it would have been probably even better. In my opinion, that is.
5. Cee Lo Green . Fu*k You
I lovethe original version way better than the censored one. But I've heard and seen the censured version performed live by Giorgio, a Hungarian Megastar contestant, and it was awesome. Especially since it was raining so badly, there were only a few of us remaining outside to listen to him. Good times :D
6. Lana Del Rey- Video games
This song is just too perfect... I love the lyrics, the message. I love everything about this one. A shame that I never heard it in open spaces.
7. Nickelback- When We Stand Together
I love Nickelback, and I really don't understand why people usually hate them so much. This song is just as cool as any of their other songs. But that's only my opinion...
8. Linkin Park - Waiting for the End
I absolutely love Linkin Park. I know they changed quite a bit, but this song rocks too. I loved it so many times, I practically raped the replay button :D
9. Foster the People - Pumped up Kicks
Just a catchy tune paired up with some tragic lyrics. A little bit anarchic, but I love it nonetheless. It's at least something unique...
10. Adele - Rolling in the deep
I didn't really want to add any Adele songs to this list. Not because they aren't good, but I just heard it so many times, I kinda grew bored of it. The song is still one of the best this year, so... here we are.
+1. Wolf Kati - What about my dreams
This song is in my opinion the best Hungarian song of this year. Tho I'm still a bit angry about EuroVision, I guess I understand that the whole contest is political. Doesn't mean, that the song isn't great, tho. Love you Kati!
++1. Guess Who - "Tot Mai Sus" feat deMoga
Tho I usually don't listen to Romanian songs, some of them catch my ears on the road... blasted radios. Well, this song is awesome, no matter what.
+++1. Jon Schmidt - Michael Meets Mozart - 1 Piano, 2 Guys, 100 Cello Tracks- feat. Steven Sharp Nelson
This one, you have Imola to thank for. She showed it to me, and I can't get enough of it. I absolutely adore this song. Also, ThePianoGuys rock. I want them to be the musicians at my wedding... and every single event in the future till my funeral. <3
