...I bring you guys today are two of my favorite things bunched up together.

Yeah, I'm talking about music and movies.

And not in that "best soundtrack" kind of way either. I thought I should show you guys a couple of those well-chosen moments in movies where the songs actually manage to make you shudder with delight.

Ever had something like that happen to you? No? I guess you have to rethink the movies you tend to watch. Also, here's something I tried not to include on the list: animated movies of any kind, because we all know that those are mostly good anyways, no musicals, because that would be unfair, and absolutely no romantic scenes, because there are a bunch of other things to give you the chills than those. And with that, we're off.

1. Drive, Real Hero

Not that HUGE of a fan of the movie, but I still have to admit, it was pretty good. Gosling does know how to act, and he proves it here (ha can actually say a whole bunch of things without having to say a word, really). For those who didn't see the movie yet, this scene probably won't say a lot, but everyone out there who watched it already probably knows what I'm talking about.

2. POTC, Hoist The Colours

This one still gives me the chills, and I watched it many, many times. One of the best POTC moments in the series, and it doesn't even include any of the main characters. Think about that, why don't you!

3. Good Morning Vietnam, What a Wonderful World

All right, I know that some of you guys don't like Robin Williams, but this movie is pretty great, so you should consider watching it if you haven't already. Good Morning Vietnam is considered a comedy, but  (as most Robin Williams Comedies do) it doesn't actually WANT to be a comedy like so many movies out there do. It doesn't have any of those dirty jokes that make you want to stand up and leave the room. And as you can see, this movie scene is certain to stick to your mind.

4. The Fifth Element, Lucia di Lammermoor

An opera in a sci-fi, you ask? Well, yes. And it was awesome too! Especially if you know the plotline of the movie. It absolutely out of this world (I loved the fact that they made the assumption that no matter how far away we are in the future, there are some songs that will always be there).

5. Fight Club, Where is my mind?

This one is here because it's epic, and a list like this wouldn't be complete without it. Check the movie out, and decide for yourself.

6. The Shawshank Redemption, The Marriage of Figaro

Another one for classical music fans, here's the Shawshank Redemption. And for those who like the movie. And for those who like Morgan Freeman. Oh, fuck it, just sit back and enjoy.

7. The Shining, Dream of the Witches

This one is actually from the opening credits of the movie - the intro, if you prefer -, but oh boy, how it booms. Don't you just LOVE those scenes where there isn't anything to be worried about, but then a song like this kicks in... yeah. Goosebumps.

So do you know any others? Feel free to share them in the comment section!
