...come to you guys with is a new dessert!

This one was one of my favorites as a kid, and because we didn't make it for a very long time now, we decided that it would be damn time for it.
Also, since it's the season for sour cherries, we used them - this pie or cake or whatever you call it is generally made with sour cherries, but I believe that you can use any other fruit you want in it. It's very simple and versatile - it barely requires any work, really.

All right, let's get down to business.

What you will need are these following ingredients:

6 eggs
30 dkg margarine
25 dkg powdered sugar
1 package of vanilla sugar
45 dkg flour
1 package of baking powder
2 dl milk
and about 70-80 dkg sour cherries (without the seed!)

And here's what you should do...

Heat up your oven (to 180 degrees if you want to know) and let the sour cherries dry a little after you wash them (or if you are using some from a compote, separate the cherries from the juice).

Split the eggs. Put a little sugar in the egg whites and make a nice hard foam out of it.

The yolks should be mixed together with the rest of the sugar then the margarine. When it's smooth slowly add the flour, the baking powder and the milk.

When this is done, also add the egg white foam.

Place some baking paper in a pan and pour the cake into it. Now comes the time for the sour cherries - place them all around the top of the cake. Don't worry if they sink, it will still be awesome!

It will take about 50 minutes for it to be ready once you place it in the oven, but test it with a toothpick.

When it's done and it cools down, sprinkle some powdered sugar on top and cut it up. Enjoy!
